- Haunted house Bongo’s Bingo – Shrewsbury’s Buttermarket are hosting a Haunted House Bongo’s Bingo evening on the 26th of October. Anyone whose been to a Bongo’s Bingo night will know its definitely a night you’ll remember! They take your classic game of bingo and mix it up with dance anthems, prizes and a lot of surprises. There will be a bar and a 90’s afterparty at the same location.
- Visit the Theatre Severn – for whose looking for a bit of a calmer evening the Theatre Severn is showing performances of ‘A warning to the curious’ on the 30th October and ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ from the 24th to the 30th of October.
- Go on a ghost hunt – Shrewsbury Prison, said to be one of the most haunted places in Shrewsbury, will be host Ghost Tours over multiple dates throughout October. This is an immersive experience which will transport you back to 1793, to the days of public executions. You will learn about the prisoners and the ghostly encounters that have happened over the past 200 years!
- Watch Hocus Pocus – Shrewsbury’s London College Campus are having a showing of a Hocus Pocus on 19th of October in their pop up outdoor cinema
- Charity Ball – Albright Hussey Manor is a little more on the outskirts of Shrewsbury but they are hosting a Halloween Ball on the 1st of November in aid of Little stars, a charity supporting babies, children an pregnant woman.
- Go on a ghost tour – Sabrina offers a ghost tour offers a ghost tour every Monday evening through October. The tours lasts for 45 minutes and will take you down the winding river and hear all the all the ghost stories and tales of years gone by.
- Go pumpkin picking – the outskirts of Shrewsbury has multiple places you can go pumpkin picking.
