Shrewsbury Food Festival

Shrewsbury food festival is hosted in the Quarry and is usually held in late June. The Festival features over 200 exhibitors including local farmers, producers, and artisans so there is plenty of options no mater your taste. The festival has a large emphasis on the importance of locally sourced and sustainable produce as well as the importance of supporting your local businesses and is a zero-waste event. The festival also aims to showcase the importance of our agricultural community and the journey of our food from fields to forks.

Throughout the weekend you are encouraged to sample a wide variety of food and drinks from cheese to craft beer. Previously the festival has welcomed celebrity chefs such as Marcus Bean and Chris Burt. The festival is jam packed with things to do including workshops and master classes where you can learn to about bread making, and part take in some wine tasting. There will also be live music performances throughout the weekend as well as a range of activities for children including a kids cookery school.
