Dough & Oil
Dough & Oil had a very successful beginning in Shrewsbury’s Market Hall. Two friends then made the decision to take it a step further and open a city-style urban restaurant that serves freshly made sourdough pizza every day. They then opened a partner’s bar across the road called Oil, which is a great place to stop for a drink before going on to have pizza. This establishment boasts a very young and hip vibe with a rustic look to it.
Dough & Oil serve a range of homemade, fresh sourdough pizza from the classic Margarita to more complex ones like The Jerk (garlic butter, mozzarella, Jerk chicken, mango salsa, Jerk sauce and coriander) or The Al Fresco (tomato and vegan Nduja. sauce, sundried tomato, black olives, red onion, stracciatella and basil oil) as well as some regularly changing and inventive specials. They also offer a range of homemade sides and some sourdough ice cream to finish.
Oil serves a range of craft beer, cocktails and regularly has live music playing.
Dough & Oil is open from 12:00 to 22:00 Sunday to Thursday and then 12:00 to 23:00 on Fridays and Saturday
Oil is closed on a Monday and open from 16:00 to 23:00 on Tuesday to Friday. 12:00 to 00:00 on Saturday and 14:00 to 23:00 on Sunday.
